Application
The FE1 range provide a tough and reliable method of heating areas in which a potentially explosive gas may be present. They are widely used in offshore installations but also in petro-chemicals plants, paint storage areas etc. The heaters should be wall-mounted at high level.
All heaters in the FE1 range are suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas and for Gas Groups IIA and IIB. The heaters are stamped T3 and can be installed in areas designated T1, T2 or T3.

Control Options
- Built-in external adjustable thermostat controlling the heater via its built-in contactor (add suffix 'T' to model number)
- ATEX certified wall-mounted thermostat controlling the heater via its built-in contactor. Ref. BNEX-1
Other Options
- Mounting kit for bolting or welding to structural steel or concrete. Ref. BMK
- Mounting kit for buildings that have substantial walls. The Z sections provide additional support where necessary. Ref. WMK
