Application

SWD heaters are particularly suited to damp or corrosive environments. Typical applications include water treatment plants, plant rooms and lift shafts.

Control options

  • Wall mounted frost thermostat conforming to IP65 directly controlling single phase loads up to 10 amps (2kW 230V).  Larger and three phase loads can be controlled via a suitably rated contactor Ref. FST-EX
  • Wall mounted comfort thermostat conforming to IP54 directly controlling single phase loads up to 15 amps (3kW 230V).  Larger loads and three phase loads can be controlled via a suitably rated contactor.  Ref. RST-EX

Other options

  • Robust wire guards are required when heaters are installed in an area to which personnel have access.  The correct guard for each heater is indicated in the specification table.  Ref. SWG
