Push button timers are an ideal means of controlling quartz halogen heaters both indoors and outdoors. The user simply pushes the button when heat is required secure in the knowledge that the heaters will be automatically switched off when the pre-programmed time period has elapsed.
In this way, the timer helps to prevent the heater operating when an area is unoccupied thereby keeping running costs to a minimum.

Large Switching Capacity
The TS-7 is IP65 rated making it safe to install outdoors and has a large 6kW switching capacity. So, for example, the TS-7 could control four 1.5kW heaters or a single 6kW heater.
The 6kW switching capacity simplifies outdoor projects as you can switch multiple heaters without the need of a contactor. (ideal for heaters mounted on a parasol)
User Friendly
A panel front light indicates when the heating is ‘on’ and provides a warning when the pre-programmed heating period is about to end. The timer also incorporates a ‘soft start’ switching mechanism which extends a quartz halogen heater’s lamp life.
