16A Programmable Commercial and Industrial Thermostat now Available

The New RT16 

The RT16 programmable thermostat is the ideal means of controlling a number of BN Thermic’s commercial and industrial heaters.  It is a surface-mount device, with a tough casing as required in industrial premises. 

Programming is really simple and can be on a 7 day or 5+2 day basis with four periods per day.  The RT16 has a 16A switching capacity meaning that it can control a 3kW heater directly or lager heaters via a suitably rated contactor. Click for specs.

Remote Sensors 

Usually, air temperature is monitored by the RT16’s built-in temperature sensor.  However, there are installations in which it is preferable for the thermostat to be located outside the area being heated, perhaps in an adjacent office.  In these circumstances, the RT16 can be connected to a remote wall-mounted sensor.
