Long Wave Radiant Heaters Installed at The Cabin Bar in London Waterloo Station
Our ‘All Black’ heaters are often specified by architects because of their smart appearance/black finish
The Project
The Cabin Wine Bar situated inside London’s Waterloo station is a popular spot for commuters and city workers. Like any train station, Waterloo station is a cold, draughty unheated area which is not ideal for customers using the bar during the colder months.
The Cabin required comfort heat for its customers and a heating solution which matched the bar’s modern, high-end aesthetic.
The Solution
The solution was very simple and the end result looked the part! The architect on the job specified 23 x 1.5kW ‘All Black’ radiant heaters to provide localised heating for customers.
As you can see from the images, the heaters look great and the project was a huge success.
Increasing customer comfort with radiant heaters will increase revenue
The Heaters
‘All Black’ heaters use longwave radiant technology which is ideal for localising heat in enclosed areas. (For areas exposed to the elements, we always specify our shortwave patio heaters.)
Given the low mounting height around the bar, the ‘All Black’ radiant heaters were ideal as they are extremely unobtrusive and their output is not too intense. The heaters provide gentle radiant heat with no noise, draught or light output.
