How It Works

System X recessed overdoor heaters provide a warm airstream across doorways and entrances. They are particularly well-suited to shops.

A system will include a controller and up to 12 individual heaters. The control daisy chain is connected using Cat5 cables ensuring the quickest possible installation time. Power is introduced to each heater individually with the controller taking its power from the first heater in the chain.

A unique feature of System X is that any style of heater from the range can be incorporated into a control daisy chain. For example, an overdoor heater could be added to a ceiling grid heater system. Heaters can be connected in any combination and any sequence.

Typically, the selection is as simple as choosing the correct length of the heater to suit the door widths. The XR-30 (3kW) is designed for installation over a single door whilst the XR-60 (6kW) is designed for installation over a double door. The XR-20 (2kW) is used where space is limited.
